This site sets no cookies on its public pages.
No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no social media embeds, and nothing shared with a third party. That is why you have not been shown a consent banner: there is nothing here to consent to, and asking anyway would be a formality rather than a choice.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise your device on a later visit. The same rules cover similar technologies — local storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. Under UK law, anything that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for needs your permission first.
What we do use
Two things are strictly necessary, and neither is used to track you:
- A session cookie in the staff login area at
/admin, which keeps a member of our team signed in while they update the site. It is set only after a successful login and never on a public page. If you are not a member of staff, you will never receive it. The login area also remembers two display preferences for staff — light or dark theme, and interface language — in cookies namedpayload-themeandpayload-lng. Neither identifies or tracks anyone. - Server request logs, kept by our hosting provider, which record the usual details of a web request — including your IP address — so the service can be kept running and secure. This is not a cookie and is not used to build a profile of you.
What we do not use
- Google Analytics or any other analytics package.
- Advertising or remarketing tags, including LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads.
- Heatmap or session recording tools.
- Embedded video, maps or chat widgets that would set their own cookies.
If that changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live, and you will be asked for permission properly — with a refusal as easy as acceptance, and a way to change your mind afterwards.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Privacy or Security in its settings. Blocking cookies entirely will not stop you browsing this site or applying for a role. It would stop a member of our team signing in to the admin area.
