Contracts Managers – Waste Sector.

We’re looking for confident, commercially minded Contracts Managers with proven experience in the waste sector to join our Commercial Team, with responsibility for the fuel supply portfolio across our Local Authority, commercial & industrial and merchant client base in the South East.

In these key roles, you’ll build strong relationships, optimise contract performance and ensure fuel supply meets operational, commercial and compliance requirements.

We have opportunities available at:

• Ardley EFF & Lakeside EfW
• Peterborough ERF
• Thameside ERF  (new facility in Tilbury due online mid 2027)

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers and hauliers, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
• Ensuring that fuel quality requirements are met and that all aspects of waste compliance are met.
• Monitoring performance, driving improvements and maintaining accurate contract records.
• Supporting operational teams to secure the right fuel volumes at the right quality and price.
• Developing and delivering contingency plans for outages and supporting the wider Contracts team when required.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in the waste industry, ideally with Local Authority contract management
• Strong contract management and commercial negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build and manage client and stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Excellent communication, organisation and data-handling skills.
• Confidence working under pressure and balancing competing priorities.
