Contract Manager – Sub Contracts
If you have at least two years' contract management experience within the waste industry, then here's a rare opportunity to further your career and join a leading independently-owned waste management operator as Contract Manager – Sub Contracts. Based at Head Office in the South East, you’ll take responsibility for managing the company’s Helpdesk team and customer portfolio, regularly travelling to meet with customers on their sites. The Helpdesk team is the single point of contact for the company’s Contract Management accounts, including their broker and third-party customers, conveying information from the company’s various depots in the South East back to customers and ensuring waste collections are carried out as they should be. You'll head up a four-strong team, dealing with and resolving escalated queries, and using your customer service and business development skills to build excellent relationships and grow the broker side of the business.
- Possess at least two years’ contract management experience in the waste industry or have a customer facing or sales background looking to make the step up.
- Experience of effectively managing a team.
- Good negotiating and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect and engage with a team and customers.
