WasteRecruit have been retained by a leading software company to help recruit a Sales Executive.
Operating within the waste management, recycling, and aggregates sectors, as well as others, the client has a very successful track record throughout the UK.
The role will involve prospecting new clients and engaging with existing clients in an account management capacity. This will involve walking clients through the software, to ensure a full understanding of the capabilities for their business.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the sales process, ensuring the client journey is smooth. Your role in account management will involve introducing new modules to existing clients and ensuring client satisfaction beyond the sale.
The successful candidate will be lively, intelligent, inquisitive and personable with a strong interest in the application of technology to help businesses grow. You will have good communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. A good part of the role is having the ability to learn and retain information, with a proactive approach to problem solving and the skills to be able to work under pressure.
Previous software sales experience is not a necessity, though of course it would be useful. More importantly, we are looking for someone who can be able to develop good working relationships with clients, who takes ownership of their own learning and is comfortable working remotely. Additionally, you will be conscientious, able to produce good written proposals and comfortable communicating effectively via both email and in person.
