Site Manager/Senior Site Manager (Landfill)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients landfill operations in the South West. You will need to ensure that daily operations are carried out to the highest H&S standards and strictly comply with the requirements of the relevant permissions. You will need to identify and implement ‘best practice’ for the operations, manage and develop your team and ensure that good relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders. You will be accountable and responsible for all site operations and play an active role in supporting the engineering team with the management of landfill and leachate engineering projects. The ideal candidate needs to be motivated, enthusiastic and an organised individual capable of managing their own time and meeting strict deadlines. Personal attributes will include a natural commercial acumen, good communication skills and desire to maintain high operational standards. Previous waste management experience, at Site Manager level, is essential together with with a sound knowledge of landfills, including COTC level 4. Ref: J5359
