Our client, an International Property Group have the requirement for a Waste Technology Manager.
The waste technology officer will be responsible for running the search for and securing a viable treatment technology partner/s for the development of both PFI and merchant waste facilities.
The role will involve:
o Detailed assessment of likely leading technologies
o Evaluation of the commercial viability of treatment technologies
o Audit existing operations and technical solutions
o Ongoing responsibility for delivering the technical solutions used by Catalyst Lend Lease in its future PFI and merchant treatment facilities.
The candidate would preferably have the following experience/qualifications:
o Degree and professional institute qualification in engineering (mechanical or chemical)
o Experience working in design and process engineering
o Operational experience in building and operating a complex process facility
o Experience in the waste and or power industry would be desirable but is not essential
o Combined experience of 10 years (in process engineering and operations role) is expected

A principal waste management consultant is required to join an expanding waste management division. The role will entail undertaking various multi-faceted technical projects commensurate with their experience, assist the Head of Waste Management drive forward policy for further growing the division and assist with developing the business.
