About the Role

You’ll bring your civil engineering expertise to the assessment of major insurance cases on behalf of our clients.
Working closely with internal and external consultants, you’ll provide the appointed Loss Adjuster with a detailed and fair assessment of the extent of property damage suffered in each case – a task that’ll require you to carry out thorough onsite inspections and costing analysis.

Depending on the scale of the project, you’ll also be responsible for assembling and managing a team of consultants, too.

About You

A degree-qualified Civil Engineer, you’ll have a strong track record in your field already.

As well as your excellent technical abilities, you’ll have proved you can manage significant projects with real success.

Confident and credible, you’ll also have excellent communication and writing skills – plus the ability to inspire those around you.

Enforcement Officer                                  South Coast                            To £25K plus van
Our client is a leading Operator.  They require an Enforcement Officer to work on a Local Authority contract to ensure all the rules and regulations for the disposal of wastes at HWRC are adhered to.  You will work on site with security staff to inspect trade type or other vehicles to determine waste origins.  You will also be required to analyse CCTV footage to obtain evidence of suspected trade waste abuse as well as interpreting ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition system) data to identify trends and potential trade waste abusers.  Additionally you will have a reporting function, providing information and instructions to security staff to ensure consistency of approach and accuracy of data obtained.  You will generate standard and specific letters to suspected persons and deal with responses; generate and maintain accurate records of investigations carried out and outcomes of them and provide evidence as required to enable prosecution of persistent offenders.  This is a crucial role for the company ensuring that Environmental and Waste Regulations are upheld.  This post is for an initial 2 year fixed term contract.  Ref: N4179
