This leading independently owned waste company is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to provide practical support across the whole Company (c.700 employees) by assisting with procedures to ensure the Company's operations adhere to legislation, codes of practice, compliance, regulation covering the requirements of, for example, the Environment Agency, Health & Safety Executive etc. Applicants will have at least 2 years' experience within a H&S role to include working across a multi-site, service orientated environment. As they continue to develop and grow, they require another Environmental Coordinator to ensure compliance and support the drive for EHS improvement. Your role will involve auditing the operations - identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans. You will investigate problems, liaise with local regulators and process routine applications for permits and authorisations. You will be continually developing your knowledge and awareness of environmental law and best practice as it relates to the metal recycling industry. Extensive travel within the South East. Waste Auditor - UK Team Leader South West £30-38K plus benefits This reputable multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking to recruit an ambitious, well motivated individual to co-ordinate and develop the company's waste auditing team into a fully functioning UK business stream. Applicants are invited from individuals with existing industry networks and contacts with an established track record in delivering waste audits to SME's.
